 I just wanted to test out the trimmer and of course I could not stop so 1,5 hours later I had tested all around the house.

I need to buy bigger/longer blades or rather trimmer thread. 

Yes, you need blades here as it is not normal EU grass here, it’s much thicker and “not” grass.

The thread I will buy is steel thread so it should be robust enough to withstand the “grass”. The blades are also too short so diameter is very small.

I will adapt and conquer the grass.
