 I had no plans for today and I stumbled upon this place while doing some quick research and it seemed like a good choice for a couple of hours including travel with BTS, boat, walking and exploring.

MBK shopping

 2 shops that actually does try to over sell their products and don’t call you “boss, brother or friend” … and are friendly. 

One shop called COTTON and the other I don’t remember the name of, were the shops I bought this. 

3 shirts from Cotton 

2 pairs of trousers… I might go back and buy 2 more of other colors … if time allows

I saw one if these shirt, tried it and bought 3

Reclining Buddha Statue and Temple

 I visited Wat Pho with the Reclining Buddha statue today. WOW, what beautiful place … the resting buddha is nothing compared to the rest of the temple however doing both is optimal for 3 hours.

Today’s Shopping

 1/2 a year ago I was researching for a good pair of shoes that fits my feet and found that the New Balance could be a great choice. 

NB Classic 574’s

2800 thb ~ 830 sek

They had only one color so I got them and they fit perfectly  

I also bought a pair of adidas’s and a bit more colorful

Both pairs have a harder sole and torsional stiffness, which means good for my feet and I can walk for many hours without pain for days after.

 Old and need an update however it has it’s charm and I don’t mind it … I booked it knowing the status

I am in Bangkok

 9 am this morning a Thai VIETJET flight to BKK took off and I was in it.

I arrived at the hotel by 5:40’ish and I am a wreck by lower back, hips, legs and feet. However I am in good spirits and feel great otherwise.

I have been to Central Village shopping for 4 hours and it took more than an hour to get there. From Central Village it took about 50 minutes to get to Central World downtown in the city. 40 minutes, walking, BTS, 7/11 shopping and the  a couple of minutes walk to hotel

No more walking tonight, only bed, relaxing and planning the rest if this trip… nothing concrete for the next coming days  

Noooo, bus connection to airport from airplane

30 minutes wait for mini bus/van to shopping 

A cold honey, milk tea for refreshments …

“One Night in Bangkok” 🎵 🎹

 Not only 1 night, I booked 3 nights in Bangkok

I found pretty good price for flight tickets and also hotel nights.

I am flying with Thai Vietjet Air from Krabi(KBV) to Bangkok (BKK) for 3151 thb and have The Heritage Hotel for 3 nights, 1977 thb

So all in all it's, 5128 THB -> ~1535 SEK

The hotel is, according to reviews, not that great rather it's OK for the price and that's fine by me when it's this cheap.

Now I need to plan the, almost, 4 days of visiting Bangkok. As I missed some visiting locations of my last trip due to "Delhi Belly" (my worst flight ever and 1.5 days in bed 😵), I have some idea of what to do and visit.
