Big Krabi Market again

I wanted some other fishballs as they’re so good and the ladies are not here selling it.

However, that’s a good thing as I now tried something different

I managed to visit about one hour, then I “panicked” … damn too much people.

Great Day at Railay

 I had a plan to walk to Tew Lay bar and beyond to the complete other side of Railay, Kimmo and I did this walk many years ago and ended up at a bar. This bar is no longer.

Snacks from Market

 The biggest and best’s market is back in Krabi Town. 

Opens today, I was there yesterday and could find some food.

Maybe half of the market place was opened. 

Cake with Peanuts/sugar, coconut and something orange and sweet!?

Brown: Durian

Green: Pandan leaf

Black: Coconut

It hurts like hell

 Damn that hurt 😞 

Well, now it’s just minor ache 🙏

In the inner corner of the eye a big ant bit me

I was trimming the small tree that have these big orange ants in it and I have not cared about them, just let them be, all other small black ants will meet the “Spray can of death”

 💀💀💀

Now one of the ants bit me badly near my eye which actually scared me, it felt like it bit my eye. 😜

I retaliated with “death to all ants”

I found 3 nests, they fold leaves. 

Dead ants …

Hedge Trimming Continues

 Yesterday I did cut one of the hedges, the final big branches.

Jupp, I could not let it go and I found energy after the rest in the hammock. 

I will finish this of next coming days … this year anyways.

Today, I put the effort in on the other hedge. 

Not such visual difference however the amount of thick branches I cut … ujuj. I will cut the outside if the fence … this year as well 👏

Now resting in the best buy hammock

Ps. I have also cut the grass by the driveway and hacked/fixed the ground to be more smooth on the sides of the driveway, the tractor made a mess a couple of weeks ago.  Ds.

Temporary Market Again

 Tonight I went filming the new temporary market at Nopparat Thara beach 🏖️ 

Even here you can find some happy ding ding smokes

I bought some cupcakes, 2 Durian, coconut and something more 🧐

Market is open 26 Dec, 2024 - 4 Jan, 2025

Now that I have seen so many of these temporary markets, they all look the same and have the same stuff … this one seems to have mostly food.

Hedge Trimmer Time

I have been looking to find a good big proner cutter, there’s none to be found in town, Ao Nang. 

So I tried with what I got at hand and it works ok 👍 

I am got to 2/3 finished before my energy ran too low. 

It’s hard to get to some of the high branches even though I got a folding ladder. 🪜 

Well, now raining so no more work today, just enjoying a relaxing rest in the new hammock

Small River … fish?

 I have past this bridge many times and seen local youngsters bathing there. 

However, can you fish there?

I saw some small ”Mört” alike fishes and one big 20 centimeter fish. 

A random toilet is available as well

Hanging Around

 Nap time … nice and comfortable!

I had a 5-10 minutes nap 😴 and now I do not want to get up.

 Wednesday market every Wednesday if weather allows a scooter ride to it.

I park at the back to avoid the traffic jams.

Almost no people there as I could see up here at the restaurant ?!
